EastEnders favourite set to return after three-month absence

A beloved EastEnders figure will be returning to the programme before long.

Ravi Gulati, portrayed by Aaron Thiara, is making a comeback to the popular soap after vanishing for three months earlier this year.

Following a breakdown linked to his drug problems, Ravi checked himself into a rehabilitation centre.

Ravi ends up harming his own child, which prompts him to sever connections with the area and depart.

When will Ravi Gulati return to EastEnders?

A Sun source stated that Ravi caused devastation when he departed, and his relatives have moved forward with their lives. The insider noted that he is about to discover girlfriend Priya’s involvement with Max Branning, which is due to continue until the New Year and the flashforward. This positions Ravi at the heart of a significant narrative arc spanning several months.

Ravi was last seen after he was intimate with his former partner Priya, just one month after their relationship ended, and she discovered him packing his belongings to leave Watford.

He informed her he was departing the area and had written her a letter that Priya never opened.

Ravi expressed his desire to free her so he could continue his own healing following his time at the rehabilitation facility.

The character believed Priya understood he had returned solely to bid her farewell and requested she not make his departure any more difficult.

Priya is now engaged in a relationship with Max Branning and will feature prominently in the New Year storyline involving him.

Aaron Thiara’s portrayal in EastEnders earned him the Best Soap Newcomer prize at the Digital Spy Reader Awards in 2022.

He also received nominations for Best Newcomer and Villain of the Year at the 2023 British Soap Awards.
