The fast-food giant is bringing back a popular dessert option for the first time in nearly two decades.
McDonald’s is expanding its United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland offerings with several fresh products, including the Cornetto McFlurry available in two varieties.
The Cornetto McFlurry, which has amassed a loyal following, is returning after an extended absence that will please those craving something sweet.
The updated summer selection is scheduled to debut on July 14.
The sought-after offering had last appeared on the menu 17 years prior.
The American burger chain has unveiled its warmer-weather offerings, which extend beyond the frozen treat.
The Hot Honey McCrispy, retailing at £9.39, consists of a chicken breast with a crunchy exterior, accompanied by lettuce, spicy honey, and white cheddar cheese, all sandwiched between a sourdough-style bun adorned with sesame seeds.
For customers requiring something more substantial, the Big Arch with Bacon is also joining the lineup.
This beef burger features twin patties, bacon, white cheddar cheese, both crispy and finely cut onions, lettuce, gherkins, and the signature Big Arch sauce.
It comes served in a poppyseed and sesame bun and carries a price tag of £11.89.
The third addition is Mozzarella Dippers with Hot Honey, priced at £3.09.
These mozzarella sticks are encased in breadcrumbs and arrive with the chain’s newly launched Hot Honey Dipping Sauce.
Furthermore, McDonald’s is rolling out three limited-period dipping sauces: Hot Honey, Korean BBQ, and Ranch varieties.
Each sauce is priced at 70p, with the Korean BBQ and Ranch options only available for six weeks.
A smaller Hot Honey Mini McFlurry will also be offered at £2.09, though exclusively through the McDonald’s application for takeaway or delivery orders.
The newly introduced sauces will be offered throughout service, inclusive of morning hours, and costs may differ depending on the specific UK location.
The Cornetto McFlurry partnership, marking its return after almost 17 years, provides customers with the option of either the Cornetto Classico McFlurry or Cornetto Strawberry McFlurry, both retailing at £2.59.
