The Red Arrows have announced their schedule for 2026, including 23 displays and flybys in the UK.

The Royal Air Force aerobatic team will begin its 2026 schedule this weekend in Greece, before the Red Arrows’ first display in the UK on May 29.

There are scheduled Red Arrows displays across the UK in 2026, including at Midlands Air Festival, Isle of Man TT Races, and Lyme Regis RNLI Lifeboat Week.

The aerobatic team will also perform flypasts at major UK events, including the King’s official birthday celebration in London (June 13) and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (July 15).

You may also be able to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows flying over your hometown on their way to an event during display season.

The Red Arrows’ website explains: “During the display season, the Red Arrows often carry out two shows and several flypasts in one day – using various locations across the UK and overseas as operating bases.

“When the season is underway, you can often find times of arrival and departure from airfields, as well as information on show times and flypasts by visiting our official social media channels – on Facebook, X and Instagram.”

These times and details are subject to change, the Red Arrows add.

What to expect from a Red Arrows display

The Red Arrows’ aerobatic display changes each year, according to their website, but there are three types the team leader can elect to fly:

Full

Rolling

Flat

A display is split into two halves – the first half consists of synchronised, formation aerobatics, followed by a more “dynamic” second half.

Manoeuvres which have featured in previous Red Arrows displays include:

Hanna Break into Slingshot

Tornado to Short Diamond

Short Diamond into 5/4 Split

Goose

Heart

Vertical break

Palm Split/Opposition Barrel

Circus

You can see a full list of previous manoeuvres, along with examples, on the Red Arrows website (a link to which can be found above).
