Paramedics attended the scene of a road crash in Chadwell Heath on Sunday morning.

The emergency response was triggered at 9:16am following reports of the collision in the Whalebone Lane South area.

Multiple emergency services were sent to the incident, including an ambulance crew and a senior paramedic officer.

The capital’s Air Ambulance service also reached the location by land.

Medics treated five people at the crash site.

Four of those involved were transferred to hospital as priority patients, while one person was discharged at the scene.

During the incident, an air ambulance was spotted landing near the B&M store.

Police cars and emergency response vehicles were present in the retailer’s car park.

According to a London Ambulance Service spokesperson, the service received the alert at 9:16am on March 29 concerning a road traffic collision in the Whalebone Lane South area of Dagenham.

Several units were despatched to the scene, comprising an ambulance team, an emergency response manager, and the London Air Ambulance service travelling by road.

First aid was administered to five casualties at the location, with four requiring hospital admission as priority patients and one person treated and released at the scene.
