New Pinner pet healthcare plan offers unlimited vet consultations with no exclusions

A veterinary clinic in Pinner has introduced a new pet healthcare subscription that guarantees unlimited veterinary consultations without any restrictions on pre-existing or long-term medical conditions.

Joel Veterinary Centre, part of the CVS Vets group, has unveiled its Healthy Pet Club Advanced package, which provides unrestricted access to consultations with both veterinarians and veterinary nurses.

The scheme also encompasses routine preventive care including inoculations, flea and worm treatments, and yearly wellness examinations designed to identify potential problems before they develop.

The initiative addresses concerns among pet owners who worry about the cost of veterinary appointments during a period of heightened financial pressure on households.

Research conducted by YouGov, commissioned by CVS Vets, revealed that almost a quarter of pet owners postponed scheduling a veterinary visit within the past twelve months because of constraints on family budgets.

Veterinary experts have indicated that such hesitation can postpone necessary treatment and substantially affect clinical outcomes.

Many pet owners who delayed veterinary care pursued alternative sources of guidance.

Survey findings showed that 70 percent searched the internet for information about their animals’ symptoms, while a separate investigation by the RSPCA discovered that 10 percent turned to artificial intelligence chatbots for pet health advice.

Additionally, 37 percent sought recommendations from relatives and acquaintances.

Lizzie McLennan Green, Veterinary Director at CVS Vets, acknowledged that owners frequently experience uncertainty before booking appointments, which can result in animals being examined later than professionally recommended.

She stated that the new pricing structure makes consultation fees, vaccinations and preventive treatments more manageable while enabling owners to obtain professional guidance for both minor ailments and more serious conditions.

Healthy Pet Club Advanced represents an expansion of the veterinary centre’s existing Care Plan, which already assists local pet owners in managing routine medical requirements through inoculations, parasite prevention, regular health monitoring and reductions on various treatments.

The unlimited consultation element extends this provision, facilitating ongoing access to professional veterinary support and promoting earlier discussions about animal health.

The monthly subscription rates are as follows: canine members cost ÂŁ34.99, feline members are priced at ÂŁ29.99, and rabbit owners pay ÂŁ24.99 per month.
