The chain announced every branch in England will cease trading at 6pm this Wednesday (July 15) to enable employees to follow the encounter.

The triumphant side will face Spain on Sunday, after the Spanish defeated France 2-0 on Monday (July 14).
A company statement posted online indicated that all Smyths Toys branches in England would cease trading at 6pm on Wednesday, 15th July, giving everybody sufficient opportunity to return home for the England World Cup fixture. The statement encouraged people to enjoy the game.
Shoppers flooded social media with approval for the company, with one person stating this is precisely what a business should represent, showing consideration for their staff.
A second individual posted that this was the reason they submitted their application to work there, adding that the company values their workforce.
A third contributor wrote that this was a fantastic approach to treating staff members.
Smyths operates more than 100 shops nationwide that will be affected by the early closure.
This retailer is not alone in adjusting operations because of the World Cup.
SCS Sofas confirmed that all its poltronesofà outlets will shut at 7pm this evening for the semi-final.
Meanwhile, should England advance to the championship match, Tesco will operate its Express branches across England until 7.30pm rather than the customary 10pm or 11pm closing time.
This arrangement permits team members to watch the match, which commences at 8pm.
Express locations will maintain standard daytime trading, allowing supporters to purchase items ahead of the game.
Customers requiring provisions at the last minute may still place orders through Whoosh until 11pm.
All Grocery Home Shopping deliveries already arranged for Sunday evening will be fulfilled and delivered as usual.
Should England fail to reach the final, branches will observe their regular trading hours.
Outlets in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will proceed with their standard schedules.
When does the World Cup final take place?
The World Cup final is scheduled for Sunday (July 19) at 8pm and will be broadcast simultaneously on BBC One and ITV1.
Spain will face whichever nation prevails in the England versus Argentina contest.
A third-place match is set for Saturday (July 18) at 10pm UK time, with the vanquished team from tonight’s encounter playing France.
