Temporary Singing Group Helps Gentlemen Find Their Sound

A new vocal initiative for gentlemen in the Harrow area is gaining momentum as a fundraising concert takes form.

The Men United in Song initiative launches in April, accommodating roughly 40 enthusiastic singers in a temporary choral project.

The undertaking supports Prostate Cancer UK and invites participants from Harrow, Hillingdon, and Hertfordshire to discover something fresh, irrespective of experience.

Over eight weeks, the group will prepare for a live charity event in Northwood scheduled for June.

The scheme aims to foster camaraderie, encourage personal growth, and provide performance opportunities while raising funds for a significant cause.

An organiser explained that previous vocal background is not necessary, and only the willingness to explore something different, participate fully, and make an attempt is required.

This represents the inaugural local edition of the scheme, which has proved successful in other parts of the country.

Registration sessions are arranged for April 8 and April 9 at Cannon Lane Methodist Church in Pinner.

The final charity showcase, featuring the Harrow Apollo Male Choir, will occur on June 6 at St. Helen’s School in Northwood.
