Doctors give update on 19-year-old after stabbing in Harrow town centre

A statement has been released regarding the condition of a teenage male who remains in medical care following a knife attack in Harrow.

The assault occurred at 4.20pm on Friday (April 3) in Station Road, Harrow.

Our sister site London Now reported that officers from the Metropolitan Police discovered a 19-year-old male with knife injuries at the location, and he was transported to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

On Saturday afternoon (April 4) a representative from the Met confirmed the individual continues to receive hospital treatment and his wounds are not considered life-threatening or permanent.

Investigations are continuing and police have not yet taken anyone into custody.

According to a Met representative, police were called to Station Road, Harrow, at 16.18 hours on Friday, 3 April following reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived at the scene within four minutes where a 19-year-old man was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Updates on his condition are being awaited. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue at this early stage. According to a representative from the London Ambulance Service, they were called at 16:22 on 3 April to reports of a stabbing on Station Road. They sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic practitioner, an incident response officer, their Tactical Response Unit and deployed London’s Air Ambulance. Their crews treated a man at the scene before conveying him to a major trauma centre.
