The A41 Watford Way southbound carriageway remains shut in the vicinity of Hendon Central following a collision that occurred today (March 1).

Alternative routes for buses

It appears that bus services have been redirected away from the area as a result of the southbound carriageway closure.

Delays on the road

The A41 has since reopened, though drivers are experiencing delays stemming from the earlier collision on A41 Watford Way southbound at The Burroughs.

What unfolded earlier

In the hours prior, significant congestion built up in the Hendon Central area as a result of the collision and road closure.

Firefighting vehicles were also present at the location.

Currently, traffic continues to move slowly as conditions gradually return to usual.
