An issue has been detected on an Elizabeth line train operating at London Paddington.

Technical Problem

A technical fault has been identified on a train stationed at London Paddington.

This fault has caused the Elizabeth line heading toward Heathrow Airport and Reading to be blocked.

Service Impact

Elizabeth line trains travelling to, from, and via London Paddington are experiencing cancellations, wait times of as long as 25 minutes, or schedule modifications.

Expected Duration

National Rail has stated that Elizabeth line service interruptions will continue until 9pm tonight, following the fault being logged at 6.30pm.

Lines Impacted

Services on routes connecting Shenfield with London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5, along with services between Abbey Wood and London Paddington, Heathrow Terminal 4, Maidenhead, and Reading, have been impacted.
