Harrow Council has considered various planning applications across the borough in recent weeks.

One notable submission involved a proposal at 76 Roxeth Green Avenue in South Harrow to convert a residential property into a children’s home accommodating up to four young people.

The council ultimately refused the application.

The following applications were received by Harrow Council and processed according to standard procedures.

These included a rear outbuilding at 42 Church Vale, a single storey rear extension at 2 Kenton Park Road measuring 5 metres in depth with a maximum height of 3.69 metres and eaves height of 3 metres, and full photographic documentation of Old Pye House on West Street as required under Condition 4a of the demolition consent.

Additional submissions covered a flood risk assessment for extensions and garage conversion at 3 Kenton Park Avenue, a single storey rear extension at 4 Lyon Meade in Stanmore with a depth of 6 metres and maximum height of 2.85 metres, and a lawful development certificate for alterations to the roof and construction of a side dormer at 7 Sweetmans Avenue in Pinner.

The 6 Meadway Close project in Hatch End involved roof alterations and side dormer construction, while 52 Westbury Lodge Close in Pinner featured a single storey rear extension with garage conversion to habitable space.

A commercial signage application was submitted for Specsavers on Station Road, and Rowlands Avenue in Hatch End saw multiple extensions including a front porch, single and two storey additions, and an outbuilding.

Additional planning applications were received across Harrow, including a side and two storey extension at 46 The Drive in North Harrow, a single storey rear extension at 15 Eastcote Lane, and the installation of portable classrooms at Tithe Farm Sports And Social Club in Rayners Lane.

Certificates of lawful proposed development were also submitted for a garage conversion at 7 Tewkesbury Avenue in Pinner.

Further applications covered a rear extension at Flat A on Orchard Grove in Kenton, details submitted for surface water management and external materials at Garden House on St Johns Road, construction plans for Harrow School’s sports facility demolition and redevelopment, and biological and landscaping details for a four-storey residential development at Station House on Masons Avenue in Wealdstone.

Additional submissions included refurbishment and demolition survey documentation for Albro House on Palmerston Road, where planning permission had been granted for part 8 and part 9 storey redevelopment, along with a front canopy, rear extension, and patio with balustrade at 37 Turner Road in Edgware.

A garage extension with rear dormer and roof lights was approved at 12 Elms Road in Harrow Weald.
