Andrew Crook, who serves as president of the National Federation of Fish Friers, remarked that the thirty-ninth edition of the awards showcased considerable skill, dedication, and professional excellence among the nominees.
He observed that standards among takeaway establishments continue to elevate, with the forty shortlisted venues demonstrating this ongoing improvement.
The final ten contenders will be announced in approximately two months.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 24 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, where the overall winner will be revealed alongside recipients of the newcomer of the year and restaurant of the year categories.
