McDonald’s has reintroduced a beloved breakfast offering following a two-year absence, generating enthusiasm among its customer base.
The Mini Hash Browns have returned to British outlets beginning Tuesday, August 25 and will be offered throughout the morning service, which concludes at 11am.
The compact yet flavourful potato snacks can be purchased in a 15-piece Sharebox and are only available for a restricted period, according to creatorzine.com.
Initially introduced in 2024, supporters are thrilled about the opportunity to purchase them once more.
On social media platforms, one individual expressed that this was absolutely delightful news. Another responded with enthusiastic agreement. A third person described the announcement as amazing, whilst another expressed joy in a celebratory manner.
A McDonald’s representative explained that it is widely understood that nothing matches the golden crispiness of a McDonald’s Hash Brown, and that is why McDonald’s UK&I is excited to announce the return of the beloved breakfast item – Mini Hash Browns. Each Mini Hash Brown is crafted to provide the same appealing crunchy shell and tender, fluffy centre that customers have grown to appreciate, but now in a smaller portion. They come in a 15-piece Sharebox, ideal for sharing with loved ones.
The company has not disclosed the duration these Mini Hash Browns will stay on the menu, so consumers are encouraged to purchase them whilst available.
The announcement follows the fast food chain’s summer menu launch, which features a Hot Honey McFlurry. The spicy twist on a classic sweet treat has split opinion since its debut.
Posting on the McDonald’s Reddit forum, one user shared details of a taste and train session at work where they got to try the new hot honey McFlurry. They indicated being in two minds about it, noting it had a very interesting taste unlike anything they had tried before and expressing uncertainty about whether they were a fan, although they believed it would be very popular.
Another remarked that honey in vanilla ice cream has been a thing forever, essentially describing it as that with some spiciness.
