A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9.33am today (14 April) to reports of a stabbing in Brent Cross Shopping Centre, NW4. “We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene. Man in his 50s stabbed Police have confirmed a man in his 50s was stabbed outside Brent Cross Shopping Centre. More to follow. Hunt for suspect Police remain in the area, with support from the National Police Air Service, and are working to locate a suspect who was seen leaving the scene. No arrests have been made at this time. Where? The incident happened outside Brent Cross Shopping Centre just after 9.30am today (April 14). (Image: NQ) Shopping centre open We understand that Brent Cross Shopping Centre is open as usual, however, it is partially cordoned off near a side entrance near the Waitrose and Santander. What is the scene like? Many shoppers in Brent Cross appear to be going about their day unaware of the knife incident that took place near the Waitrose and Santander. Police presence only appears to be by the cordon, at the courtyard near the side entrance to the shopping centre. There was one police officer at the scene. Another police officer could be seen on a road near the shopping centre near a small taped up area. As reported earlier, the rest of the shopping centre remains open to the public as normal. It is only the courtyard by the side entrance next to Waitrose and Santander that remains closed off. Brent Cross statement A spokesperson from Brent Cross has said: “We can confirm that an incident occurred at Brent Cross this morning. ”Police and ambulance crew attended, and this is now a matter for the authorities and we are supporting them with their enquiries. “The safety and security of our shoppers and colleagues is always our top priority.” Police contacted We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for an update on the condition of the victim.
