Police have arrested a teenager following an accident between two electric bikes in Mill Hill.

Officers and paramedics were called to Devonshire Road at approximately 20:05 on March 19 after learning about a crash involving a pair of e-bikes.

Emergency medical staff treated a 13-year-old boy at the scene before transferring him to hospital, according to London Now.

His injuries are not anticipated to be serious or long-lasting.

The boy was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possessing an unlawful weapon, though the Metropolitan Police has indicated he has been released under conditional bail pending further inquiries.

A police spokesperson said that on Thursday, March 19 at 20:05, officers and ambulance crews attended a collision involving two e-bikes on Devonshire Road in Mill Hill. The spokesperson added that a 13-year-old male was assessed by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital, and that his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or permanent. The spokesperson also noted that the same youth was later arrested on suspicion of possessing an illegal weapon, and that he has been released on conditional bail while enquiries are ongoing.
