First responders attended a stabbing incident in Northwood Hills, with one person taken to hospital, London Now reported.

On February 24, officers cordoned off the scene on Joel Street near its junction with Briarwood Drive after the attack occurred at about 6:27pm.

Ambulance crews gave initial treatment to a male in his twenties at the location before getting him to hospital as an emergency case.

Doctors said his injuries were not serious.

A man aged twenty was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in custody, our sister publication London Now reported.

The Metropolitan Police indicated the incident is believed to be unconnected to broader criminal activity, as the two men are understood to know each other.

A spokesperson for the force commented that a twenty-year-old male had been arrested following a stabbing in Hillingdon and remains in police detention.

Officers attended a disturbance on Joel Street in Northwood at around 18:20 on Tuesday, February 24. The victim, a man in his twenties, was treated by London Ambulance Service medics at the scene before being taken to hospital where his injuries were found to be non-life-changing.

This incident is being treated as isolated since the two men are believed to have an existing relationship.

A representative from the London Ambulance Service indicated that the service received notification at 6:27pm on Tuesday (February 24) about a stabbing at the crossroads of Joel Street and Briarwood Drive in Northwood.

An ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle paramedics and an operational commander were sent to the location. A trauma team from a London’s Air Ambulance vehicle was also mobilised.

Crew members treated a patient at the scene and conveyed him to a major trauma centre as a priority case.
